Distinct spaces
for distinct brands

Creatively led by Founder Hilary A. Miners, HAM is a full-service interior design studio crafting tailored environments for hospitality and retail brands.

Our New York City WBE practice integrates interior design, branding, and graphics for projects locally and abroad—from neighborhood cafés and pop-ups to global flagships and destination restaurants.

For both emerging clients and established corporations, HAM creates highly considered environments and visual systems that are concept specific. Each project begins with the brand, translating its character into a distinct spatial identity that is wholly its own.

Meet the founder

Hilary A. Miners is a designer and architect known for her narrative-driven, award-winning work across hospitality and retail. With two decades of multidisciplinary experience, she brings a distinct creative point of view, deep technical fluency, and client focused collaboration to every project.

From the earliest days of her career at Pompei A.D. designing prototypes for retail giant Anthropologie, Hilary learned firsthand the impact of visual storytelling and brand continuity in the physical environment. Most recently, Hilary was the SVP of Environment Design at Brand Bureau, an AvroKO company, where she spearheaded award-winning work for best-in-class hospitality visionaries such as Chef Stephanie Izard, cult beauty brand Sunday Riley, and national bank Capital One.

She founded her namesake studio in 2024 to create bold, beautiful environments for brands shaped by context, visual hierarchy, and unexpected details.

Hilary holds both a Masters of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis.
